Closer: Cooking & Company is a unique singles experience for people in their 30s–50s who want real connection, not swiping. One week before Valentine’s Day, we’re coming together to cook meals for neighbors experiencing food insecurity in Los Angeles, in partnership with Our Big Kitchen LA (OBKLA) , while creating space for authentic, human-to-human connection along the way.
Before, during, and after cooking, you’ll be gently guided through playful, thoughtful connection games designed to help you actually meet people, beyond surface-level conversation. No forced flirting. No pressure. Just real moments of presence, laughter, and shared purpose.
