SLS Consulting LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Sophy Love (“Sophy Love,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you interact with Sophy Love, including through our websites, applications, forms, communications, events, consultations, matchmaking services, coaching services, Dating Concierge services, Dating Directory, and related offerings.
1. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through:

Sophy Love registration, profile, application, and contact forms;
Matchmaking, Dating Concierge, coaching, and related services;
The Sophy Love Dating Directory;
Closer Events and other Sophy Love events, classes, and workshops;
Consultations and meetings;
Email, telephone, SMS, and other communications with Sophy Love; and
Other services operated by or on behalf of Sophy Love that link to this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party websites, applications, or services that have their own privacy policies.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Sophy Love and which services you use.
Information You Provide to Us
We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:
Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, date of birth, and location.
Profile and biographical information, such as your occupation, education, interests, lifestyle, family information, relationship status, personal history, and other information you choose to provide about yourself.
Dating and relationship information, such as your relationship goals, dating preferences, partner preferences, values, interests, lifestyle preferences, dealbreakers, past dating experiences, and information relevant to potential compatibility.
Sensitive personal information, which may include information concerning race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, income, relationship history, family status, or other sensitive information you voluntarily provide in connection with matchmaking, coaching, or related services.
Photographs, videos, and other media that you provide for your profile, matchmaking, Dating Concierge, events, coaching, or other Sophy Love services.
Communications, including information contained in emails, text messages, telephone calls, consultations, surveys, feedback, coaching sessions, and other communications with us.
Event information, including registrations, attendance, preferences, applications, RSVPs, and feedback related to Sophy Love events.
Transaction information, including information concerning services purchased, amounts paid, billing history, and related transaction information.
We generally use third-party payment processors to process payment card transactions. We do not need to receive or store complete payment card information when payment information is submitted directly to a payment processor.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you use our websites or online services, we and our technology providers may automatically collect certain information, including:
IP address;
Browser type;
Device type and operating system;
Pages viewed;
Links clicked;
Referring website or source;
Approximate geographic location derived from IP address;
Date and time of visits;

Dating platforms when authorized as part of a Dating Concierge service; and

We may also perform limited verification using publicly available information where appropriate.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
Create and maintain your Sophy Love profile;
Operate the Dating Directory;
Evaluate whether Sophy Love services may be appropriate for you;
Provide matchmaking, Dating Concierge, coaching, and related services;
Identify and evaluate potential introductions;
Develop dating strategies and recommendations;
Communicate with you regarding appointments, consultations, events, introductions, or services;
Register you for and administer events;
Respond to questions and customer service requests;
Process transactions and maintain billing records;
Personalize our services and communications;
Improve our websites, programs, services, and customer experience;
Analyze website usage and marketing effectiveness;
Detect fraud, abuse, security issues, or violations of our Terms and Conditions;
Protect the rights, safety, and property of Sophy Love, our clients, members, staff, and others;
Comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements; and
Send marketing communications when permitted by law and according to the preferences and consent you have provided.
We may also use information in other ways that we disclose to you when the information is collected or that you specifically authorize.
4. Matchmaking and Profile Information
Providing matchmaking services inherently requires us to evaluate information about you and, in appropriate circumstances, privately present certain information to potential matches or other matchmaking professionals.
We may share limited profile information, including photographs, biographical information, preferences, and other relevant information, when reasonably necessary to explore or facilitate a potential introduction.
We do not publicly post your private matchmaking profile or photographs unless you expressly authorize us to do so.
We do not provide your direct contact information to a potential match or outside matchmaker unless you authorize us to do so or it is otherwise appropriate as part of an introduction you have agreed to.
Sophy Love may collaborate with other professional matchmakers or matchmaking networks when searching for potential matches. When doing so, we seek to limit the information disclosed to what is reasonably necessary for the matchmaking purpose.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.
Service Providers
We may provide information to vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, including providers of:
Website hosting;
Cloud storage;
Customer relationship management systems;
Email delivery;
SMS and telecommunications services;
Analytics;
Payment processing;
Scheduling;
Video conferencing;
Event management;
Customer support;
Security;
Professional services; and
Other technology or operational services.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law and their agreements with us.
Matchmaking Professionals and Potential Matches
When appropriate for matchmaking purposes, we may share limited information with potential matches and professional matchmakers who assist us in identifying possible introductions.
We do not provide your mobile telephone number or email address to these parties for their own marketing purposes.
Event and Program Providers
We may provide information to vendors, venues, instructors, or partners when reasonably necessary to operate an event or program in which you participate.
We do not provide your email address, mobile number, or SMS consent to event partners for their independent marketing unless you separately and expressly authorize us to do so.
Legal and Safety Purposes
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
Protect the rights or property of Sophy Love;
Protect the safety of our clients, members, employees, contractors, or others;
Investigate suspected fraud, harassment, abuse, threats, or illegal activity; or
Enforce our agreements and policies.
Business Transactions
Personal information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
Any successor organization receiving personal information will be expected to process the information consistently with applicable law and the commitments applicable to that information.

We may disclose personal information for other purposes when you specifically authorize us to do so.
6. Mobile Telephone Numbers, Email Addresses, and Marketing Data
Sophy Love does not sell your mobile telephone number, email address, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent.
We do not share or provide your mobile telephone number, email address, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent to third parties, affiliates, or non-affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide this information to vendors and service providers solely as necessary to operate our business and deliver communications on our behalf.
7. SMS and Mobile Messaging
Sophy Love offers optional SMS programs.
Providing your telephone number does not by itself enroll you in marketing text messages. Where SMS consent is required, we ask you to affirmatively opt in.
Marketing Text Messages
If you expressly opt in to marketing SMS communications, we may send recurring marketing text messages concerning:
Sophy Love services;
Event invitations;
Relationship and dating content;
Classes or programs;
Announcements;
Special offers; and
Other promotional communications from Sophy Love.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
Transactional and Service Text Messages
If you separately agree to receive transactional or service-related text messages, we may send communications concerning:
Scheduling links;
Appointment confirmations and reminders;
Event registrations and RSVP confirmations;
Access or verification codes;
Requested information;
Service updates; and
Other communications related to an interaction, service, or event you have requested.
Marketing SMS consent and transactional or service SMS consent may be collected and maintained separately.
SMS Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with Sophy Love, the services you request, events in which you participate, and the communications you elect to receive.
Message and data rates may apply.
Your wireless carrier’s standard messaging and data charges may apply.
SMS Opt-Out and Assistance
You may opt out of an SMS program at any time by replying STOP to a message from that program.
After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message confirming your request.

Opting out of one category of messages may not automatically opt you out of a separately authorized messaging program.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
SMS Privacy
Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
This restriction applies notwithstanding any other provision of this Privacy Policy concerning disclosure of personal information.
We may provide SMS-related information to telecommunications carriers, messaging providers, customer relationship management providers, and other vendors solely as necessary to deliver or administer our messaging programs.
8. Email Communications
We may send service-related emails when necessary to communicate about your account, profile, consultation, event, purchase, or other interaction with Sophy Love.
We may also send marketing emails where permitted by law.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link contained in the email.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent us from sending communications that are necessary to administer a service or transaction you requested.
9. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to:
Keep our websites functioning;
Remember preferences;
Understand website usage;
Measure traffic and performance;
Detect technical or security problems; and
Measure the effectiveness of advertising or marketing.
You can usually control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not a uniform industry standard governing these signals, our websites may not respond to all Do Not Track signals.

Sophy Love may retain transaction records such as the amount, date, service purchased, payment status, and limited payment information necessary for accounting, customer service, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining business and transaction records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, and maintaining appropriate historical records.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate business needs.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no internet transmission, electronic system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting any account credentials or passwords associated with services you use.

You may request that we update or correct information you have provided to us.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism in the applicable email.
You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP.
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to Sophy Love, you may also have rights concerning your personal information, which may include the right to:
Request access to or information about personal information we maintain about you;
Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
Request deletion of personal information;
Request a portable copy of certain information;
Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling where applicable;
Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable; and

Sophy Love will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

Sophy Love does not sell mobile telephone numbers, email addresses, or SMS opt-in or consent information.
15. Sensitive Personal Information
Matchmaking and relationship services sometimes require information that may be considered sensitive under privacy laws.
We request that you provide only the information you are comfortable sharing and that is relevant to the services you request.
We use sensitive personal information primarily to provide, personalize, and improve the services you request, including evaluating compatibility, identifying potential matches, providing coaching, and understanding your relationship goals.
We do not use sensitive personal information to make eligibility decisions relating to employment, housing, credit, health insurance, or similar matters.
16. Children
Sophy Love services are intended for adults.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age for matchmaking or Dating Directory participation.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
17. International Users
Sophy Love is based in the United States.
If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Privacy protections in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your home jurisdiction.
18. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our websites and communications may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or information practices of third-party websites or services.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use.
