the secrets of secure attachment and authentic connection.
Heal your past, empower your present, and create a future
of healthy, conscious, and sustainable love.
You’re seeking a liberated approach to love, unbound by the constraints of your previous attachment style.
The course was one of the most powerful workshops of my life and it was exactly what I needed. I’ve been putting the practices into my life and watching the results show up almost everyday. It’s incredible. The work is like a key that is unlocking my life and allowing me to blow by blockages that I’ve tripped over for years. So again thank you, thank you, thank you.
At the Closer workshop, Ryel paired us up, and took us through guided questions meant to dig deep and really get to know one another. By the end, I felt like I hadn’t made meaningless small talk and that I hadn’t been robotically evaluating people with checklists, but instead getting to know them IN REAL LIFE. Since the workshop, I’ve been a lot more honest with the people I date, instead of hiding my emotions or trying to be someone else who has different preferences.
It’s impossible to learn how to build deeper connections alone, which is what makes Closer workshops so special. It’s the perfect way to practice showing up as your most authentic self with a group. Ryle creates an atmosphere that’s both fun, and educational which really helped me connect to myself while Sophy curated a group of like minded people. I came away with a few fun dates and a couple new friends.

Justin Wilford Phd
author, internal Family Systems Coach
Justin guides leaders in business and the healing professions in personalized, one-on-one Internal-Family-Systems-based practices that allow them to see, understand, and compassionately relate to all of the unconscious protective mechanisms that keep them from connecting with their highest wisdom and deepest, truest selves.
Justin began learning how to do this during his PhD training as a health scientist developing wellness programs for families affected by health crises. Wilford helped to develop programs focused on diet, exercise, and sleep but found that mental and emotional health were the prerequisites for all other changes in our lives.
With the aim of designing more emotion-focused health programs, Justin trained in mindfulness-based stress reduction, health coaching techniques (such as motivational interviewing and active listening), emotion-focused therapeutic approaches, authentic relating, breathwork, and most importantly, Internal Family Systems. Throughout this time, he consulted with dozens of therapists, researchers, trainers, and coaches to learn how to blend all of these approaches in a way that drives deep self-discovery, emotional healing, and lasting emotional fitness.

Attachment Theory and Science
Historical Background:
Discover the foundations of how we connect with others. Attachment theory has evolved significantly over the years. Starting with Freud’s early theories, John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth later revolutionized our understanding of attachment by emphasizing the importance of the child-parent relationship. Their research identified four main attachment styles: secure, insecure-avoidant, insecure-ambivalent/resistant, and disorganized/disoriented. Understanding this evolution helps us grasp the profound impact of early relationships on our adult lives.
Attachment Styles:
Understanding these styles helps us see how our early emotional attachments shape our lifelong relationship patterns. This course will delve into these concepts, helping you recognize and transform your own attachment style. Which style shapes your relationships? Find out in this course.
What is IFS (Internal Family Systems)?
A Revolutionary Approach to Self-Understanding, Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative framework that views the mind as made up of distinct parts, each with its own role and perspective. Beneath these parts lies the True Self, a core essence of calmness, compassion, and clarity. IFS helps individuals heal by facilitating communication and harmony among their parts, leading to greater self-awareness, improved relationships, and enhanced emotional well-being.
Key Concepts:
- Embrace the multiplicity of your mind – we’re all beautifully complex.
- Connect with your core Self – the source of wisdom, compassion, and healing.
- Understand how internal conflicts shape your external struggles.
- Learn to harmonize your inner world for profound personal transformation.
